Although technology has propelled us forward in society, we are still subjected to some of the most ancient problems that have plagued humanity since humans walked the face of the earth. Namely, poverty.
Poverty is somewhat of a phenomenon because, despite measures being taken by governmental bodies, charity associations, and well-meaning individuals, the situation persists. So the question arises: What can we do to either contain poverty or eradicate it altogether?
This question has been asked throughout the ages and is still relevant today. But my question to you is this:
Are you simply going to stand by and watch while others suffer?
Will you find it within your heart to contribute and help the cause of the helpless?
I know what you're thinking; you're probably saying, "Oh no, not again. Not another charity; we have too many charities already"...
But I challenge you TODAY...
To help the helpless!;
Provide for the poor!;
Give a lending hand to the widow!;
Extend a helping hand to an orphan child.
These actions have no law because they are simply the law of love in action. Exercise this law today and do not discriminate against those who have not, because whatever situation they may find themselves in, they cannot help their current circumstances.
Just like the widows you see in the picture, they are abandoned and forgotten. Some even roam the streets, some sleep in trees, and some sleep next to refugee camps.
It breaks my heart to witness this happening in the world, and it seems that no one is doing anything about it.
I hope the reader of this article is moved with compassion to help out and contribute to driving out poverty in our society.
